it had 70.000 miles on it and my kid was rear ended by a truck. i bought it back from the insurance company for $300 .we cut off the drivers rear quarter panel , stomped ti back into shape(sort of) and welded it back on . 3 gallons of bondo , $30.00 for paint and some Rat Fink stickers . for some reason my kids don’t ask to use it any more? maybe it’s the dingo balls or whitewall tires!

At About 20 seconds that is like the furthest thing from a rat i have ever seen! Why would they even let that thing in the show .

real hotrods dont have valve covers…?
dont get me wrong, i like flatheads but there is nothing like a good ol’ big block out of an old cadillac or lincon…

I agree, ratrods are just hot rods made out of stuff you have laying around or find. Cheap cheap cheap, but completely badass.

Rat Rods were for the broke teenagers out making a ruckus. Broke teenagers weren’t spending 5000 dollars on those paintjobs…
