flatties are pretty small engines, but it’d involve building some kind of frame to mount the engine in the front, any engine in the front would take lots of work, but anything is possible.

i have a question: is it possible to put a ford flathead v8 in the front of a beetle without enourmous changes to the front?
I have a dream of building a beetle hotrod, with a classic Ford Flathead V8 in the front, with a chopped roof(is it called that?) and some other details, like have a dark-blue paint or black paint with hotrod-flames on it.
Very nice car, very good video, keep up the good work:)

Wow, amazing work! I was wondering, where did u get the top or did you make it yourself? Also, what does the frame holding up the canvas look like and does it colapse or fold down?
Thanks
Rich
